Which are your fave ballads?

In the previous article I made a list of songs I listen to that makes me feel happy.
In this list I'm gonna mention some of my fave ballads.We all have that sad songs that we listen to, to ease the pain that we feel and know that we are not alone in this world.

Nell - Ocean of light 

Is definitely one of the most inspiring songs I have ever listen to.Really, really inspiring.I don't know the lyrics of it but it makes me feel that anything is possible and that you only have to believe in yourself and try your best.

Baek Ah Yeon - Tell me 

Tell me is a song that I would love to listen to it as a background music in a k-drama.The piano, Baek Ah Yeon's calmly voice...everything in this song is just perfect.(I can also understand some of the lyrics.Proud to understand a little bit of korean ^^)

Tahiti - Pretty face 

I would like to thank my sister who found this song and put it in the mp3 player, to give me the chance to listen to it.The melody is great and I love how in the end one of the girls repeats one of the lyrics over and over again and how every time she repeats it, it gives you goosebumps.Amazing song!!!

G.NA - I'll back of so you can live better 

Yes, I really, really like G.NA!Her songs are awesome and "I'll back off so you can live better" is definitely one of my fave songs of her. 

Younha feat John Park - Would we have changed

No need to describe this song.It's flawless.Younha and John Park's voices match really well.(This mv has eng subs).

I'm in love with this song.I listen to it all the time.I would love to see Mblaq singing this song live.I believe it's one of their best songs!!!

VIXX releases their repackage album "Jekyll" + mv for "You're impressive"

VIXX cameback with their repackage album "Jekyll" and the mv for their title song "You're impressive" or else "G.R.8.U."(whice I love so much!I listen to it every day!!! ^^)
VIXX whom we have use to as a group who does dark,vampire concepts,decided to comeback with a brighter and much more cute concept this time around.The title song "You're impressive" is a pop track that talks about how a guy feels when he is in love.I really like Ravi's part that says "Your existence is perfect,gorgeous and sexy exist together, eyes,nose,lips all beautiful,living the world by yourself".
In a colorful and bright mv where everything goes backwards,we see the boys cleaning up their room which is a total mess while they sing the song in a happy mood.It's a mv that really makes you feel better as the boys are so happy and full of energy.That + the beat and the meaning of the song makes "You're impressive" a perfect for the summer song that will definitely cheer you up.Plus the boys are extremely hot and cute at the same time.How can anyone resist that?

SBS MTV B+ DIARY

I always thought that the best way to get to know about a boy or a girl group is by watching their own variety/reality shows.In that way you learn a little bit about their personalities,it's easier to recognize each member when you watch a music video and you know the position that each member has in the group(main vocalist,visual etc.).
I watch many variety shows such as Running man,We got married,We got married-Global edition,Weekly idol,Beatles code,The romantic and idol and etc,but I started watching variety shows that focuses on boy or girl groups a few months ago.The first that I watched was B + Diary a tv show that focuses on BTOB.This particular show has only 5 episodes,but each episode is really amusing and it will make you laugh.GUARANTEE

My fave episode was ep.4.The crew and staff of MTV invaded at BTOB's apartment around 5:30 in the morning and woke up the BTOB members in order to do some missions.The most funny mission was the one in which BTOB saw a video of an ahjussi dancing to a song and after watching it they had to dance the choreo themselves.It was hilarious watching them trying to remember the exact steps as they had just woken up.After a couple of times,they finally succeeded.

Baek Ah Yeon releases her 2nd mini-album "A good girl" + mv for "A good boy"

This is the first time that I've listen to an entire album and pretty much loved all of the songs.Baek Ah Yeon's newest mini-album "A good girl" was released on June 7th and is a mini-album that I would like to have in my k-pop collection.
Her title song "A good boy" has been described as an "upbeat pop track that is fun,but still showcases her impressive pipes".I really like the title track and the choreo which is full of aegyo moves that I think fits perfectly with the song.

But my fave song from this mini-album is undeniably "Tell me".Now,that is what I called an amazing ballad.Everyone says and I agree that this song is like a song from an O.S.T of a k-drama.It relaxes you,can make you cry and make you feel peaceful.I'm happy that I was able to listen to such an amazing song.Check it out below.

Rainbow releases the 2nd part of their 1st full-length album "Rainbow syndrome part 2" + mv for "Sunshine"

What a quick comeback,no?Rainbow decided to come back 4 months after their previous comeback.And I couldn't be more thrilled.
It seems that DSP Media takes good decisions and makes really good promotional activities for Rainbow as we see the girls making a strong appearance in the k-pop scene this year.Part 1 of their first full-length album was released back in february and part 2 was released just a few days ago to make our summer sweeter.

The girls returned with the cute,sweet and fresh concept that they showed us in their previous album than a sexy concept.(I personally prefer the first one).Their title track "Sunshine" has been described as a "fun and colorful, and perfect for the summer season" song and you know what?It's true.It's such a happy song that from the moment that it starts,you wanna sing and dance with the girls as well.One thing that I really like both in the mv and in the song is that "Oh,oh,oh,oh,oh,oh" thing that Ji-sook and Seung-ah do in 0:22 and 1:39 respectively(Watch the mv and you will know what I'm talking about).It's such a funny thing to do!

Exo releases their 1st full-length album "XOXO (kiss & hug)" + mv for "Wolf"

First of all, let me fangirl for a little while and just say "Exo's album is AMAZING!!!OMG!Ahfgrtuinfgdlt!My exotic feels!"Ok.Now that I have calmed down a little(I don't know for how long though) let's proceed to the article.
A comeback that every single one exotic has dreamed about.For how long?Well, for exotics it might seem like forever. And to be more precisely, exotics have been waiting for 1 year and 1 month to see their boys back on the music shows.And those rumors that kept appearing out of nowhere saying that exo would make another comeback pretty soon after their debut didn't help the exotics at all.

So, after 13 months, exo returned with their first full-length album "XOXO (kiss & hug)"(I really like the title of this album ^^) and the release of the mv for "Wolf", their title track.
I haven't listened to all of the songs yet but I have listened the majority of them and the only thing that I have to say is that "XOXO" is a well-produced and an amazing album.My fave song of the album is 365.I have listened to it so many times that I have lost counting.As for my fave ballad? I choose "Don't go".Again I could just listen to this song all day long and never be tired of it."XOXO" it's a really nice album full of amazing songs.S.M. did an awesome job.

As for their title song "Wolf".It's a song slightly different from what we have used to listen to in the k-pop scene.I personally like it.(Let me clarify one thing:I have never not even once listen to any of the leaked versions that came out.I personally preferred to wait and listen to the original version when S.M. would decided to release it).And like I said before I like it.It's nice to listen to different kinds of music once in a while and exo has the privilege to do so as they are still in the beginning.I just wish them good luck and I truly hope their album to top the music charts.Exo fighting!!!

Is just that I recently saw the BTS video from their photoshoot and I wanted to post it on my blog.

2PM made their long-awaited comeback with their 3rd full-length album "Grown"

Still feels like a dream.Still can't believe it.I mean, I have seen their 2 new, amazing MVs, I have watched their live performances yet I still can't believe that 2pm is back.Ok, let me calm down a little.I can't calm down because 2pm is back!Oh, god please help me!!!
So, 2pm has returned, after a 2 year hiatus, with their 3rd full-length album "Grown" and the MVs for their 2 title tracks "Comeback when you hear this song" and "All day I think of you".
I joined the k-pop world last year so for me their 2 year hiatus didn't seem a really long time(as I waited for one year only) but for the Hottests out there who waited for 2 whole years for these boys to make their Korean comeback...I admire your courage and patience.You sure waited long enough and for that reason 2pm has rewarded you with this amazing album(and the HOT teasers of course!)

I have listen to both of their title tracks and so far my fave is "A.D.TO.Y."I really like the beat of this song.The choreo won me over as I found it very unique plus those simply moves that they do make our 6 angels look so sexy.(Simple is always the best).And also don't forget the high notes from Wooyoung and Nichkhun...another reason why this song is my fave.

Secret releases 4th mini-album "Letter from Secret" + mv for title track "YooHoo"

Secret brings us closer to summer with their 4th mini-album "Letter from Secret".The 4 ladies came back with a different concept.From fierce and sexy to fresh,cute and girly to promote "YooHoo" their latest single.
I took the time and listen and to the other 3 songs from their mini-album.And I can honestly say that "Letter from Secret" is a mini-album that I really want to buy and include it to my k-pop collection.It's a really nice and well-made mini-album.The songs "Daddy long legs" and "B.O.Y"  are in my list of my fave k-pop songs.I can press the replay button and listen to them again and again.

On another note for those who don't know it yet,Zinger decided to use her real name from now on which is Jung Hana and make a fresh start.I personally love her decision.Jung Hana is such a cute name^^
I really hope their newest mini-album to top the charts and bring them many music wins.

4minute releases 4th mini-album "Name is 4minute" + mv for title track "What's your name?"

4minute is back!Our 5 beautiful ladies have made their long-awaited return with their 4th mini-album "Name is 4minute" and the mv for their title track "What's your name?"
"What's your name?" is an electronic hip hop song produced by Brave Brothers and as they all say once you hear the song you will not be able to forget it.Especially the chorus.And they are right.This song is stuck in my head and I'm walking in the house singing "Lalalala 이름이 뭐 예요?Lalala what's your name, what's your name?"

The girls have returned to the genre of music they used to sang back in their debut days.And I'm so happy they did!4minute can really pull off these kinds of songs with their own unique style and charm.

Do you have a minute?Or even better 4?

I might have a crush on Cube Entertainment's artists.I don't know how to explain it, so I'm gonna call it "The Cube fever" haha!It all begun when I started listening to G.NA's wonderful music and now the fever has expanded to 4minute.(I'm gonna take a leap here and say that if you see an article about B2st posted in my blog later, you will know that the fever has completely taken over me).
Even though I know 4minute, I had only listened to "Volume up" so I don't think that hearing one song can actually count as knowing a group so, I can honestly say that although I had heard that they are very famous I actually didn't know them.Until quite recently when the majority of the members where seen everywhere doing various things such as solo activities, reality shows and more.
For example:The first member I learned about was Hyuna and that's because of her guest appearance in Psy's mv for "Gangnam style".

Then after a few months I learned about Jihyun.She is my fave member from 4minute and that's because of her participation in the reality show "The romantic and idol".She and Hyungshik is my all time fave couple from the show.(Hyungshik became my bias from ZE:A).Just look at them!

  And then earlier this month when Cube made the first sub-unit from 4minute called 2Yoon(consists of members Gayoon and Jiyoon) I told to myself :"I have to listen to 4minute".
The girl group has 5 members.Hyuna,Ji hyun,Gayoon,Jiyoon and Seohyeon.The official name for their fans is 4NIA.

I can describe their songs with one word and that is catchy.When they debuted in 2009 they had this r'n'b kind of songs like "Huh" and "Muzik".But I really like the songs that weren't their title tracks but some songs from their albums such as "Sweet suga honey", "You know","Hide and seek" "What a girl wants" and "Heart to heart".They are so cheerful that can really light up your mood.

One of my fave artists: G.NA!

Ok,first of all I wanna say that I'm sorry for not writing this past month.It's been a very busy month for me(I am taking a course from Duke University and the essays take a lot of my time) so I didn't have the chance nor the time to write(That's why I have written only 1 article in March).
But enough about me.I'm here today because I wanna talk about one of my favorite female artists,G.NA.Her real name is Gina Jane Choi and she debuted on July 14 of 2010 with the mini-album Draw G's first breath under Cube Entertainment.Cube has some of the biggest names in the k-pop scene such as B2ST and 4minute and G.NA is one of them.
I have to admit that I didn't know who G.NA was.I first heard about her last year when she made a comeback with the song "2HOT" but I didn't like it so I continue on and learned about other male and female groups.But I came across with G.NA when I saw her in a reality that I watch called "The romantic and idol".She was casted for season 2 and that's when I started liking her.She was such a sweetheart, kindwarm and cute person.Even though things didn't go as she has wished for,yet she was smiling and being the cute girl she is.

So far G.NA has released 4 mini-albums, 1 full-lenght album and 1 english album.Her latest mini-album "Beautiful kisses" was released a few weeks ago and her title song "Oops" ft.BTOB's Ilhoon gave her another win on a music show(and more specifically on MusicBank).I almost cried when I saw her reaction when the MCs announced that she won.She was speechless.She thanked many people including G.NIs and when the song started to play again for the encore scene she couldn't hold her tears back any longer.
G.NA has released amazing songs.My favorite is "First kiss" from her newest mini-album.It's a sweet ballad talking about her first love.Another song that I like very much is "I'll back of so you can live better".Now that's an AWESOME song.Both the song and the mv are DAEBAK!!!Doojoon stars in it and Junhyung raps.What more do you want?And also "Black and white" "Top girl" and "Oops".
